In the package
Your selected number of film panels, in the chosen color and dimensions. A compatible transformer is supplied with your film. Adhesives, tools, wiring and accessories must be verified against the final order; no installation service is included.
Important Technical Information
Clean the glass thoroughly 3–4 times before installation.
Ensure the glass is completely dry before applying or powering the film.
Dust contamination may cause bubbles and reduce appearance quality.
Moisture trapped under the film may cause electrical short circuits.
Do not allow conductive film edges to contact metal window frames.
Never fold, crease, sharply bend the film.
Store and handle the film only on a clean, flat surface.
Carefully remove protective liners from both sides before installation.
Use the supplied scraper at approximately a 45° angle.
Work slowly in small sections rather than scraping large areas at once.
Verify all wiring connections before applying power.
Protect connectors and wiring from water.
Please kindly cover the adhesive on the edges of smart film, and can not remove the small transparent tape on the electrode copper foil. Please cover the small transparent tape with adhesive. Applying adhesive will extend the life of the smart film.
The adhesive should be a PH value of 7 and a zero shrinkage rate. We recommend to use brand 83 glue from Japan.
Smart film daily cleaning just use a damp cloth. Please don't use acidic cleaning agents.

Materials, power & installation details
TWO STATES. ONE SMART SURFACE.
Know what changes when you switch.
A clearer view.
Enjoy visibility through the glass. Some haze remains possible, especially at an angle.
A frosted finish.
Obscure visual detail while allowing diffuse light through. Nearby silhouettes may still show.
Black. Gray. White.
Choose the film color separately from its operating state. Gray availability and exact shades require a supplier sample.
01 / The material
A thin layer.
A different feeling.
PDLC stands for polymer-dispersed liquid crystal. The source listings describe an adhesive film applied to suitable smooth glass, creating switchable privacy without replacing the glass itself.
02 / The switch
Clearer when on.
Frosted when off.
A compatible electrical system changes the film's optical state. “Clear” does not mean perfectly invisible: residual haze, viewing angle, nearby silhouettes and lighting all affect appearance.
03 / The setup
Plan the power.
Then the privacy.
Both supplied listings say that a compatible transformer and control system are sold separately. This offer is for film panels. Do not assume a remote, adapter, smart-home hub or installation service is included.

Before installation
A considered fit, from edge to edge.
- Measure each visible glass pane in several places. Record width, length, unit and pane count.
- Confirm surface suitability, edge clearance, busbar position, moisture exposure and cable routing with the supplier or installer.
- Choose a compatible transformer based on the confirmed electrical specification and total panel area. Never connect the film directly to mains.
- Follow the manufacturer's preparation and fitting instructions. Do not cut the electrical edges or use an assumed wet-install method.
- Have a qualified installer make the electrical connections and test the approved setup before completing the project.
Supplier reference specifications
The INWIXA Amazon listing states the values below. They describe that listing and have not been independently verified for the final BLURGLASS product.
- Film thickness
- 0.35 mm, source-stated
- Operating voltage
- 48–60 V AC, source-stated; only use the supplier-approved transformer
- Transformer input

1 in = 2.54 cm. The 8 × 12 in option is a small sample-size panel. Source sizes are listed in the Amazon variant menu; availability for each BLURGLASS color and bundle is pending verification.
Customize any standard size
Select a standard size, then choose “Customize this size.” Both your width and length must fall between the two numbers of that standard size, including the endpoints.
Example: 27.5 × 39.5 in allows each dimension from 27.5 to 39.5 in. A 29 × 36 in request fits; 27 × 36 in or 29 × 40 in does not. A square size has identical limits. These are BLURGLASS quote-form rules; production details and price are confirmed before ordering.
How to measure
Measure the visible glass at several points, excluding the frame. Use the narrowest width and shortest length. Confirm clearances and cable routing with your installer.

Before you choose
Clear answers.
Confident choices.
How do I choose color, size and a bundle?
Configure everything on this product page: choose Black, Gray or White, select a ready size or Custom Size, then choose 1, 2, 3 or 4 panels. Each ready-size bundle contains one color and one size. Add another configuration separately if your panes differ.
How does Custom Size work?
Choose a standard size, then select “Customize this size.” Enter width and length in inches or centimeters. Both must fall between the two numbers of the selected standard size, including the endpoints. For example, 27.5 × 39.5 in allows a custom 29 × 36 in panel. Select your pack and tell us about the installation. Submit the quote form on this same page. Custom cuts need a confirmed drawing, electrical setup, price and lead time before production. A quote request is not an order.
Are all three colors available?
The source listings include Black and White. Gray is included in the BLURGLASS design at the owner's request and is awaiting supplier confirmation. A color swatch or concept image is not an exact optical or color specification.
What does switchable privacy film do?
PDLC film changes the way light passes through glass. With a compatible power supply it becomes clearer; when switched off it becomes frosted. It is a privacy surface, not a blackout blind. Actual haze and privacy depend on lighting, viewing angle and distance.
Can I apply it to my existing windows?
These source products are described as adhesive films for smooth glass. Confirm your glass type, the environment and the installation method with the supplier before ordering. Do not assume outdoor or wet-area compatibility.
What is included in the package?
Both source listings state that a compatible transformer and control system are sold separately. Your chosen pack refers to film panels only. Final accessory, wiring and installation requirements must be confirmed for your order.
Can I cut the film myself?
Do not cut or alter the electrical edges without manufacturer instructions. Measure each pane and confirm the required clearance, electrode position and cable routing before ordering. Electrical connections should be handled by a qualified installer.
Does frosted mean completely invisible?
No. Shadows or silhouettes may be visible, especially close to the glass or under strong backlighting. The visual switch on this site is an illustration, not a performance guarantee.
When will shipping and returns be confirmed?
We are preparing the launch. Final prices, delivery coverage, dispatch times and return terms will be published before orders open. See our draft shipping and return pages for the proposed process.
What happens during a power outage?
The source-listed PDLC film becomes frosted when power is removed and clearer when powered. Frosted does not mean blackout: daylight can still pass through, and nearby silhouettes may remain visible.
Can people see in at night?
Clear mode behaves like ordinary glass: a brightly lit room can be visible from outside. Frosted mode obscures detail, but close silhouettes and strong backlighting can still affect privacy. Test a sample in your actual lighting before choosing film for a sensitive space.
Do I need Wi-Fi, an app or a phone?
The control method depends on your separately purchased, compatible controller. Do not assume Wi-Fi, an app, voice control or a remote is included. Confirm the controller, transformer and wiring together before installation.
Is Gray a third switching mode?
No. Black, Gray and White are color choices in this storefront. The source-listed operating states are clearer when powered and frosted when switched off. A separate tinted mode or dimming function is not confirmed for BLURGLASS.
What should I send with a custom-size request?
Give each pane a label, then record its visible glass width and length, units and quantity. Note the frame, handle or hinge positions and the preferred cable exit. Include these details in the project notes. The final drawing, clearances and electrical edges must be agreed before manufacture.
Can I remove and reuse the film?
Do not assume an adhesive electrical film is reusable or leaves no residue. Removal methods depend on the film and glass surface. Ask for the supplier's removal instructions before fitting it to rented property or glass you may change later.
